When you begin to over-perform, the system introduces a measured, imperceptible inefficiency that returns you to equilibrium. When you fall behind, it releases stored performance to bring you back up.

The set does not make you a better golfer. It makes you exactly a par golfer, which for most players is the same thing pursued from the opposite direction.
