The Obedient Tour Ball (Dozen)

The Obedient Tour Ball is manufactured with a boundary-aware core that recognises the surface of a water hazard and elects not to cross it. On approaching water, the ball arrests its own momentum and comes to rest on the nearest dry ground, having reconsidered.

The decision is made by the ball, not the player, and is final. The ball will, however, freely enter bunkers, rough, and trees, which it does not object to on principle.

The Bureau of Measured Outcomes submitted 600 balls directly at open water and recorded zero entries. Four balls hesitated at the margin before withdrawing.
