The Regression Putter is calibrated so that precisely one putt in every ten is holed from any distance, on any line. The remaining nine are not failures; they are the club's Statistical Averaging Cavity distributing your successful outcomes evenly across the round, so that your scoring profile is measured, smooth, and repeatable.
Attempting to hole two putts in a row will cause the cavity to defer the second, preserving the one-in-ten ratio to which the club is committed.
The Institute of Applied Ballistics confirmed a hole rate of 10.0% (±0.0%) across 5,000 putts, independent of distance, green, or the player's competence.
